Jennifer is uniquely diverse and learned in multiple facets of production, making her a truly well-rounded filmmaker and visual storyteller.
Jennifer has creatively served in head positions as a screenwriter, cinematographer, director, producer, production manager, casting director, camera operator, editor and art director. Her experience both on-camera and behind the scenes has given her unique insights and training in order to direct talent and lead a crew to achieve the vision. Jennifer's ultimate goal is to be an innovative, multifaceted filmmaker, and a voice in the industry which encourages and empowers this generation to pursue their dreams. With this vision and motive, Jennifer founded, owns and operates Open Door Film Productions.
At Open Door Film, a Visual Storytelling Company, we believe freedom can be found through the lens: there is always a story to be told, a moment to capture and an audience to inspire. We develop, create, and produce all forms of narrative digital media, including; short & feature films, web & mini-series, TV shows, documentaries, and marketing video content.
We aim to produce material that shines a light on social issues and allows a platform for voices which are often not given the majority attention in the entertainment industry.
